We are licensed to conduct civil wedding ceremonies in all of our fabulous suites. With 21 flexible event spaces we can cater from the most intimate to the grandest of weddings.

Grand Room

The iconic Grand Room at the Grand Central Hotel has been transformed into a stunning yet flexible wedding venue in the heart of Glasgow city centre. The Grand Room provides a spacious setting for up to 300 guests.

Victoria and Regent rooms

If you’re looking for an elegant location for your wedding in the heart of Glasgow, the Regent and Victoria rooms at the Grand Central Hotel are ideal. Boasting many original features including half moon windows with the stonework visible on the inside of the room and intricate cornicing, both rooms have been superbly restored to their former glory and are ideal for weddings with up to 160 guests in the Victoria and 100 in the Regent.

The Clyde and Queens

This suite is the perfect venue for a more intimate wedding celebration. The room is decorated in contemporary colours and offers the perfect setting for up to 80 of your closest family and friends.

Each room is themed around the hotel's Central Station location and its historic links to the Caledonian Railway. All of our rooms are beautifully decorated and have been completely renovated in stunning, rich, warm colours with modern ensuite facilities, Plasma TV with Freeview, Broadband, Laptop-sized safe and much more as standard.

Glasgow Central Station - The hotel is located within the station. The entrance to the hotel is located on the main station concourse.

Queen Street Station - Exit from main entrance onto Queen Street continue forward onto St Vincent Place. Turn left onto Buchanan Street and continue until TGI Friday's. Turn right onto Gordon Street and continue forward. The hotel is located on the left hand side.
