The Rivers Suite at Craiglockhart

Craiglockhart Campus is located within a leafy suburb in the south west of Edinburgh. It is conveniently accessed from the City Bypass as well as several local buses and has ample parking facilities.

The Rivers Suite, with its dedicated entrance, is made up of three rooms and has been recently refurbished and lovingly restored to its former glory. The addition of a brand new bar facility complements our new sumptuous suite of rooms.

The Siegfried Room is perfect for Civil, Religious and Partnership ceremonies with smaller numbers more suited to the intimate Wilfred Room.

Our beautiful and original 20th century chapel can be used to host your wedding breakfast for up to 120 guests and evening reception for up to 200 guests.

Within a wonderful setting, there are stunning views on the front lawns towards Edinburgh Castle which are perfect for official photographs.

Edinburgh Napier University can offer modern city centre self-catering apartments throughout June, July & August, we have a range of studios and 4,5,6,7,8 & 9 bed flats at competitive rates, the apartments are a 10 minute car journey from the venue. Out with the summer months hotels, guest houses and B&B’s are located within a reasonable distance.

Directions by road

From the north or south take the city bypass to Dreghorn Junction. Follow the Dreghorn Link and turn left at the mini roundabout onto Redford Road. At the end of Redford Road turn right onto Colinton Road and continue to the roundabout. Turn left at the roundabout and follow Colinton Road to the traffic lights, turn right onto Glenlockhart Road and Craiglockhart Campus is on your right hand side.

For most of the buses shown above you need to get off at the bus stops on Colinton Road, just outside the campus. The 23 service stops on campus.
