Our beautiful Cardoon suite is ideal for smaller wedding celebrations of up to 100 people. We can recommend a minister, registrar or humanist to conduct your wedding ceremony in our conservatory which is bright and airy and has direct access to our terrace garden. Our terrace garden or the leafy Bruntsfield Links park opposite are perfect for your wedding photographs.

Rich autumn colours and darker days create the perfect backdrop to candle lit tables and, if you’re really lucky and blessed with a ‘white wedding’, the scene is dreamy.

Our Head Chef delights in matching menus to the seasons and will create warming winter menus, treating your guests to the very best the winter season has to offer.

Your guests can reserve standard, executive or superior bedrooms and we also have two four poster bedrooms. Our family rooms can accommodate two adults and two children and we have ground floor bedrooms for guests with walking difficulties.

The arrangements were all straight forward which really put us at ease. So many of our guests came to stay for the whole weekend and have all complemented the staff and the food. The hotel was beautifully decorated and The Cardoon suite was stunning. The staff took care of every detail on the day, always friendly, helpful and Thomas was fantastic. Our meal was excellent, absolutely delicious and there were lots of happy children. The DJ that came with the package was great, everyone enjoyed the playlist. "We had a wonderful experience with the team at the Bruntsfield Hotel. We were supported by friendly and helpful staff from the day we booked the venue until the big day itself. The staff were flexible and happy to work with the vision that we had for the wedding. On the day we didn't have to worry about a thing; the staff made sure that everything ran smoothly and there was never a moment when I felt like I didn't know what was going on. The food was excellent and I don't think I've ever had such a hearty meal at a wedding before. Several of our guests had food requirements which were catered for without any problems. My mother in law has quite a severe food allergy and was given a special menu she could use in the hotel restaurant throughout the length of her four day stay. She was very happy with this and she also mentioned that it's unusual to find hotels which are so willing to deal with her requirements. The DJ was friendly and approachable and very happy to deal with our song requests. He was even happy to have a friend of ours DJ for a portion of the night. To top it all, the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever stayed in at a hotel! The entire team were, without exception, incredibly friendly and helpful and did everything they could to make the day be a stress-free, enjoyable time for ourselves and our guests. I would recommend the venue without hesitation."
