When you come to Harburn it is yours and yours alone, dream the dream, you are the Lord and Lady of the manor for the duration of your stay.
Situated almost equidistant between Edinburgh & Glasgow, Harburn is a privately owned country estate, which is available for exclusive use. Being one of West Lothian's four designated designed landscapes, we boast magnificent grounds, and a photographer’s paradise.

The estate offers the full package for weddings, which includes a classic Georgian mansion, along with the Rondavel & Granary, two interconnecting 250 year old buildings with their original stone walls and oak ceiling, as well as one of Scotland’s finest marquees. The Rondavel is completely round and provides a very romantic venue for a ceremony.

Our dedicated and professional staff will pamper you from arrival to departure. Whilst we are renowned for our catering, we can allow outside caterers in special circumstances.

Weddings at Harburn begin by sweeping through magnificent parklands and past lochs to an elegant Georgian mansion you can call your own. Whether it be just one night or a whole weekend, spend the evening strolling through beautiful water gardens before a sumptuous dinner with your nearest and dearest. Then drift off in a luxurious four poster bed, awakening to birdsong and a champagne breakfast. In the house and grounds things may start to get busy. But not for you. No stress, no fuss. Just time and space to begin the final countdown to your dream wedding.

The spectacular surroundings of Harburn House will ensure your unique memories are captured for all time. The bright yellows and oranges of daffodils carpet the lawns in spring, with azaleas and rhododendrons producing a blaze of rainbow colour into summer. Autumn brings rich golds and russet reds to the thousands of trees, whilst winter frosts light up the whole estate with a magical sparkle. Lochs, streams, woodland paths, bridges and dovecots provide dramatic and romantic backdrops, as do any of the spacious, graceful rooms of Harburn House itself.
