Ardanaiseig—"Intimate Wedding Venue of the Year" (2011)

In a quiet place of undisturbed tranquility and almost surreal natural beauty, where the slopes of Ben Cruachan fall into the clear waters of loch Awe, lies a deeply romantic and luxurious old country house hotel…

Ardanaiseig was built in the Scottish Baronial manner for Colonel Archibald Campbell of Clan Campbell in 1834. It was designed by William Burn and is listed for its architectural importance.

Burn's other work includes Bowhill for the Duke of Buccleuch and a number of Edinburgh's finest 19th century buildings.

Testimonials

“Cat & Joakim and their friends and family, flew from all over the world to the beautiful Ardanaiseig Hotel, to ‘tie the knot’ in style.  Cat & the girls got ready in the boathouse, with the help of Laura Gray & her beauty team.  The flowers were by the lovely Sophie of ‘I Heart Flowers’ – and all looked amazing!

There was a truly emotional ceremony which had everyone in tears, including myself, the photographer AND the humanist, as they told the story of their journey together, in both English & Spanish, before everyone cheered the tying of the knot.

Scotland was true to form, raining nearly all of the day, but when it had calmed to a light drizzle, we made it out to capture some of the breathtaking scenery all around us, and it looked as beautiful as ever.”

"Thanks to you and all the staff at the Ardanaiseig for making our wedding so special. Everything worked out just perfectly. We had a great time and so did our guests."

“Each one of our guests told us how amazing they thought the venue was and how beautiful the food was.”

“Friends and family are all saying it was the best wedding they have been too. Amazing weather and such a perfect location. Guests said they were speechless during dinner with so many surprise courses.”

“We fell in love with the place and, as a result, didn’t bother looking at any other venues.”

"Thank you so much for making our wedding just as we wanted it. We absolutely loved our stay at Ardanaiseig and cannot fault a single thing.
